Young Athletes Need Generalization
Adults Need (Some) Specialization
Valesco (Latin):
Getting stronger over time, to grow strong
Strength isn’t just how much weight an athlete can lift—
It’s an expression.
That expression might be a handstand, dancing on stilts, doing a backflip, or lifting a heavy boulder.
At Valesco Youth Athletics, our mission is to maximize the ONLY window of opportunity we have to effectively strengthen the integrity of our bones and connective tissues.
The modern “movement diet” kids are fed is not building the Movement Bank Account they need to afford the physical cost of sports and sport specialization.
We believe this plays a major role in the alarming rise of non-contact injuries across all levels of sports.
Movement is an investment.
The earlier it’s made, the greater the return—in health, performance, and longevity.
